City Break!

So the reason for my lack of posting is because I was finally able to achieve my dream and went to New York for a city break with my mum! Oh my god it was so exciting and amazing, I loved every second of it! The trip was definitely exhausting and we walked for hours until our feet were crying out in pain. We had plasters and tape all around our toes because we kept getting sores and blisters but it was so worth it! Attached are some pretty pictures of NYC 🙂

    1. I wish I could go with you! Seeing NYC all lit up at night from the Empire State Building was amazing, the 9/11 Tour and Memorial was sad but very interesting to hear from the tourist guide as he was there on the day it happened. The Statue of Liberty was another great experience, we were right under her feet and could see for miles! 🙂

      1. The Memorial is not too far from the Statue of Liberty. We went on the tour then walked for about half an hour along the Hudson River then got on the ferry to Liberty Island. Have you got tickets already? 🙂 x

      2. Ooh you’ve got plenty of time then! Just to let you know the crown tickets get booked up way in advanced, there wasn’t any available when I last looked until September! I would definitely recommend you book as much as you can in advance. We booked everything before we went and honestly it just saved so much time. People were standing in queues for ages especially for the ferry to Liberty Island and we skipped it all because we had pre-booked x 🙂
